The following are the travel documents needed for Indonesian citizens who will travel to Penang, Malaysia:

For Single Entry Visa Type

1. Passports with a maximum validity period of 06 (six) months before the validity period of the passport expires.
2. Round trip ticket.
3. No visa is required.

For Multiple Entry Visa Types

1. Passports with a maximum validity period of 06 (six) months before the validity period of the passport expires.
2. A round-trip or one-way ticket.
3. Approved Visa application documents are required and will be shown at the time of inspection of travel documents at the airport.

Berikut Pesyaratan Penerbangan Internasional untuk Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri ke Penang, Malaysia:

• Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib mendownload aplikasi MySejahtera dan melakukan registrasi sebelum keberangkatan ke Malaysia
• Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib mengisi formulir digital pra-keberangatan melalui ikon “Traveler” pada aplikasi MySejahtera
• Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib melakukan verifikasi sertifikat vaksin anda secara online melalui https://mysafetravel.gov.my/. Apabila PPLN telah melakukan verifikasi sertifikat vaksin melalui aplikasi MySejahtera, untuk tahap ini bisa dilewatkan.
• Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib yang telah divaksin lengkap akan menerima “digital traveller card” yang akan ditunjukan pada saat check-in di hari keberangkatan.
• Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib dan warga negara Indonesia harus menginformasikan alamat selama berada di Malaysia.
• Efektif 1 Mei 2022, pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib yang telah mendapatkan vaksinasi penuh (sesuai syarat dan ketentuan vaksin yang diterima) dan anak-anak dibawah 12 tahun, tidak diwajibkan melakukan tes covid-19 sebelum terbang dan pada saat kedatangan di Malaysia
• Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib yang belum mendapatkan vaksinasi penuh (sesuai syarat dan ketentuan vaksin yang diterima) atau belum pernah divaksinasi, wajib melakukan tes PCR dengan masa berlaku 2x24jam sebelum jadwal keberangkatan dan melakukan tes antigen sampai dengan 24jam sejak kedatangan di Malaysia serta wajib melakukan karantina secara mandiri selama 5 (lima) hari.
• Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib tidak diwajibkan untuk menunjukan asuransi perjalanan yang dimiliki pada saaat masuk ke Malaysia
• Pelaku perjalanan luar negeri wajib harus mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang berlaku selama berada di Malaysia

The following are the International Flight Requirements for Overseas Travelers to Penang, Malaysia:

• Overseas travelers are required to download the MySejahtera application and register before departure to Malaysia.
• Overseas travelers are required to fill out pre-warm digital forms through the "Traveler" icon on the MySejahtera app.
• Overseas travelers are required to verify their vaccine certificate online through https://mysafetravel.gov.my/. If PPLN has verified the vaccine certificate through the MySekwaa application, this stage can be passed.
• Overseas travelers who have been fully vaccinated will receive a "digital traveler card" that will be shown on check-in on the day of departure.
• Overseas travelers are mandatory and Indonesian citizens must inform the address while in Malaysia.
• Effective May 1, 2022, overseas travelers who have received full vaccinations (according to the terms and conditions of the vaccine received) and children under 12 (twelve) years of age are not required to perform COVID-19 tests before flying and on arrival in Malaysia.
• Overseas travelers who have not received a full vaccination (according to the terms and conditions of the vaccine received) or have never been vaccinated, must conduct PCR tests within a valid period of 2x24 hours before the departure schedule and conduct antigen tests up to 24 (twenty-four) hours since arrival in Malaysia and must self-quarantine for 5 (five) days.
• Overseas travelers are not required to show the travel insurance they have at the time of entry to Malaysia.
• Overseas travelers must comply with the health protocols that apply during their stay in Malaysia.
